We kick started last weekend with MQ Sturegallerian, Gallerian and Bromma, We hung out with the staff and customers and showed them our new Spring/Summer collection. Of course we even brought our own music and Vemund also made one painting for each store. We met a lot of fantastic people and are looking forward to hit out on the road again on friday!

It has been a busy week as usual. We started out with a photoshoot for the AW12 lookbook. This time our old friend and skateboard guru Filip Söderlindh stood as model.

Vemund's AW12-paintings are starting to take shape. But it is way to soon to see what they are suppose to portray. Check out some of our paintings.

We have also made a massive stand for our accessories in the showroom, of course with a little help from our friends at Bromma Stål and Ekesiöö.

We just came back from a great weekend in Berlin. We went there to do the image shoot for the AW12 collection and it all went very well. Of course we brougth our favorite photographer Daniel Olsén, and in Berlin we also met up with our dear friend and super guitarist Jona Weinhofen who is going to be our main front model for AW12. Bring Me The Horizon

Let me start off by saying wow what a night. So some of you might know that we are friends with a metalcore band from Sheffield called Bring Me The Horizon. Well last week they were in Stockholm for a photo shoot and a gig at Fryshuset. And of course we met up with them to have a good time and we sure did. It started off at our office we showed some of our latest samples.

We had a great time, and then they asked if we would like to join them backstage on their gig. Something you can’t turn down. This was something amazing!

Between us at Mouli we have seen a lot of shows but this was something totally different from any other experiences. These guys really now how to put on a show. I believe none of us had ever seen something like this up close before.

It's getting soooo cold in Stockholm, just so you know. So today we are having a laidback friday. Vemund and Eitil are checking out shirt fabrics for the next winter season. And I don't know whether it's friday afternoon or if Eitil has found a great fabric but he has a mysterious smile on his face! Anywho we hope you all have a great weekend. Personally i am going for Irish Coffea tonight if it keeps being this cold.

Back from China

Hi all,

So hope all of you have had a great weekend, we sure have! Last week started of great with Marc getting the new FIFA 12, game more addictive then heroine. His quote "Females ignored another 12 months" is somewhat true. And we got some of our workers back from a trip to China. Henrik and Eitil went to China to see some factories and meet with some fabric producers.

But it was not all work, we did have time to hang out with some of our friends we gotten to know in Shanghai. One odd but nice time was going to a traditional swedish crayfish party in Asia. Pretty much like home but we exchanged our swedish Snaps to Sake which works as good, you gett a good buzz from them both.

So you might have seen that our brand new Fall/Winter collection has arrived. We are very happy about this and we have had a great summer. Much thanks to you, our customers! This season we got inspired by the native indians in North America. This shows on a couple of pieces, like the buffalos on Vilgot Heavy knit .

Eitil is going to play some music and make pancakes and Vemund is going to make a painting at the store that some lucky fellow is going to win. Berlin...

So we are back after a hectic summer ready to rock this atum away! The summer started off with a trip to Berlin during the fashion week. We had a great time saw a lot of shows and visited som crazy places.

We jumped on payed 2 Euros each and he took us to a great day club. If you ever visit Berlin be sure to take a tour on the Techno boat so worth it. He plays techno and serves beer taking you to a awesome places.

The summer is official here! How are we so sure? Well our summer sale started today so it has to be summer now. We have 30-50% off on almost everything like the late arrival TOBY tee! We also like animals thats why our website is under siege by weird animals like fury cows and crabs. We hope your summer has started as good as ours have. Well yesterday we had our first exhibition for our paintings. It was a lot of family, friends & fools and we had a great time with everyone. TINIE TEMPAH IN A LEWIS ZIPHOOD

So this is a exciting week for us! It all started yesterday when we got a message from our friend Ishi who is a producer who told us to watch the new video for Chase & Status feat Tinie Tempah! And tired as we all were of a long weekend with a lot of parties we got in to massive surprise, there is Tinie rockin it out in our Lewis Ziphood! The video is great and so is the song! It's a honor to have friends like Ishi (twitter) and Tinie!! These guys are Tearin' It Up all around right now! We hope to party with them when we see them next time.

And as if that is not enough we have our first exhibition this wednesday at Scandic Anglais Hotel here in stockholm. Our designers Vemund and Eitil have collaborated with their parents making 35 great looking paintings. So if you are in town swing by and have a look. It will be showing from June 15 to midsummer. In exactly one week from today, the 15 of June we are going to have our first MOULI ART EXHIBIT! We will celebrate this by having a party at Scandic Anglais Hotel in Stockholm! This is the first of many to come and the plan is to collaborate with different artists from around the world. To kick things off our designers Vemund & Eitil have collaborated with their parents Liv Due & Hans Thorén who both are artist to make music inspired paintings that are printed on a steel canvas. This will be a happy event and of course we hope that you will join us! Because today is the 17 of May we are celebrating! Our designers Vemund & Eitil have Norwigian heritage and today Norway celebrate 187 years of independence! Congrats to our neighbors in the west! All of us hope that Vemund & Eitil will be having a party after work but we are unsure if that is going to happend. I believe they are gonna party Norway-style by them selves. So yesterday we were honored with a visit from Eric Turner. You might have heard him in the collaboration with Tinie Tempah on the track Written in the stars. So Eric and producer Ishi 2stripes came by before they flew off to LA where they are going to be on David Letterman and Late night with Conan. So hopefully somewhat millions of americans are going to see Mouli on TV.

Friday is here and we are about to sum up the week. Yesterday half the office left for Manchester, they said they were going to do some work over there but we doubt it. They are going to watch football, Manchester U - Chelsea. The rest of us are going to have a great weekend here in Stockholm. We got some new samples today for the SS12 collection shown below, and stylist Billie came by. The last thing today is finishing up a collaboration with Rebecca and Fiona. So there is a lot of talk about these one-pieces that are so popular. We started to think about making a Mouli One-piece and then we got a mail sent to us about the history of one-pieces. So we thought why not enlighten all family, friends and fools about it. Below you will find some of the creations through the history of time and some that are just really odd. So this is two videos of Burberrys grand opening of their new flagship store in Beijing. Burberrys is going to redesign and open about 100 stores in asia with a digital and interactive experience. So what they did was to make a holographic catwalk show. It features their AW11 collection. I think this is a great idea of how to make stores more digital.

Happy friday everyone. We have had a busy week with a lot of SS12 samples, press show at hotel Anglais but the most important thing this week was our MOULI IPHONE 4 DICE COMPETITION! We got a mail from our telecom company that we had a new iPhone 4 to pick up. So to decide who should get the iPhone Henrik got his hands on a couple of dices and started THE MOULI IPHONE 4 DICE COMPETITION (yes it needs to be caps locked). After 10 rounds we had a CHAMPION and it was...... drumroll...... VEMUND! And to be honest he needed it the most. Below is picture of a happy camper and also his old phone.

I don’t know if you are familiar with projection mapping. It is a form of 3d projection where the shapes of the surroundings make it look like it’s 3d, it’s often seen in a commercial way to promote a product. Anyway this is a projection is called The Ice Book and is the story of a princess who lures a boy into the forest in order to warm her heart of ice. The performance blends animation, puppetry, and film to bring a pop-up book vividly to life in front of the audience’s eyes.

Something good eventually came from BP’s oil spill

You all know about the oil that infected the shores of Louisiana came from a drilling done by BP. The oil has destroyed massive parts of Louisianas wildlife and nature. But one good thing came out of it at least. The grafic designer Anthony Burrill decided to make something of the oil on the shores. So he gathered some of the oil on the shores and made a limited screen print poster of it in which of all the profit goes to the restoral of Louisianas shorelines. Stumbled upon this unique coat rack made by Mehmet Erdi Özgürlük & Anıl Ercan. It’s a reminder of the bombings of Hiroshima & Nagasaki some 66 years ago. I don’t know but a wild guess is that the balloon is symbolize that in the future we should attach balloons on the bombs so they never hit the ground and devastate like bombs have done in the past.

I don’t know if you are familiar with tilt shift photography but its basicly a form of photography that makes the world looks like a miniature world. Anyway there is programs out there that allows you to make it yourself without the camera to get some what simular effect. Well this is how it looks. Today is my birthday and I cry if I want to. But i’m not going to because I work at Mouli and they have just celebrated me! We ate *kanelgifflar and drank coffea and I got a bottle of Kanon Organic Vodka. I will stick into the freezer and drink it with my colleges at when you will be able to have a drink on some porch somewhere. Should mention that the people over at Kanon Vodka are great and they are doing som cool projects. Have a look at their site here.

Here at the Mouli HQ we listen to a lot of music and one artist that has inspired us in many ways is Johny Cash, a true country ledgend. We are not alone to admire him. Even though he is dead his music lives on and as of some months back so does his videos. Now you can praticipate in creating a new Cash music video. It’s quite simple, you get a frame from a scene in the video and you just have to re-draw in your own version. I just found an excellent spot for our next photo shoot, Mouli Island. It’s a small island in the archipelago of New Caledonia somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. The Island is also known as Hwakaiö which is weird because they use “Ö” that (almost) only is used in the swedish language. I wonder what our financial accountant and budget dictator Henrik thinks of this great idea.
